Beginner's Sampler Class - Daytime

Have you ever wanted to make a quilt? Now is the time to learn the skills needed to do this. It is a wonderful pastime that can provide hours of enjoyment as you make items for your home, as gifts, or just as an artistic expression. We will cover the basics of piecing while making a small sampler quilt. Topics include: how to use the tools, accurate piecing, and assembly techniques. There will be homework.

Decoupage is a beautiful new collection from In The Beginning Fabrics. One item in the collection is a wonderful floral tablecloth panel, which is the center of this diagonally set quilt. Let's be ready for Spring when it gets here.

Create seasonal decorations for your home office, or to give to special people. Let us walk you thru making these projects, while you learn new techniques and improve your machine embroidery skills. We will make the March quilt in February, the April quilt in March, the May quilt in April, and the June quilt in May. Each session is a separate class.

This popular event has been greatly anticipated by those who have come in the past. Come sew and hang out with fellow quilters. We generally order dinner from one of the nearby restaurants. It is always a relaxing and inspiring evening as we all work on our projects. You need to sign up in advance for each particular sessions to reserve a space.

Come for a social time while working on your projects. This is a wonderful time to be inspired and encouraged. It is always interesting to see what everyone is working on. Frequently seeing what someone else is working on, makes us want to explore other projects.You need to sign up for each individual session, to assure that a sewing station is saved for you.
