These classes are an addition for the Grids Girls. They will provide projects where we can get more practice using the Creative Grids specialty rulers.

Posh Santa Quilt

This adorable Santa Claus is constructed using the Quick Curve Ruler. Sandy will lead you through the technique of using this ruler. It will remove any fears that you have of curved piecing.

Binding – The Finishing Touch

The final step to a beautiful quilt is the binding. This class will teach you how to have attractive binding with mitered corners

Finally Fridays are Back!

Bring your projects and get things done while enjoying the company of other quilters. You can come anytime after 4:00 and we stay until about 9 or 10, depending on everyone’s energy level.

Young Sewers

We offer an after school 5 week program for young sewers. They can start at the age of 10. Included in the price are the materials for this first session.

Kimberbell Embroidery Club

Join us as we make small projects that fall into both the cute and useful categories. These are wonderful small projects that we can use in our own homes, or as gifts.

Do you like to make Christmas decorations and gifts? This table runner is not only impressive looking, but it is easy to make using three of the Creative Grids specialty rulers.

Vinyl Mesh Market Bag

Connecticut is no longer using plastic bags, so we need to have our own reusable bags that we can take with us when we go shopping. This useful bag makes use of the vinyl mesh to make it stronger.

Pudgy Pumpkin

This is an annual favorite. This year we are planning on trying to change it a little. Come make a different pumpkin with us. Kits are included in the class fee.

Quilting on Queen

Do you love sewing with other quilters? Because so many of us enjoy the social aspect of sewing with others, we have scheduled some Fridays for open sew sessions.

The Land of Yum for Young Sewers

During this 5 week class we will be working on “Sweetie”, “Jelly”, and “Fried Eyes”. For those students who wish to, we can continue with additional classes to turn them into pillows, or a quilt.

Stripology project 3.jpg

We all love our Stripology rulers, but do we really get the most out of them? Are there features that we do not use? The Ruler designer, Gudrun Erla has written several books, as well as patterns, to assist us in helping us to use this tool successfully.
